Why does this smoothie help skin??? CHIA SEEDS! My mom got me into them, as well as flax seeds. I mostly put them in smoothies, but you can also put them in salads or really anything you cook. Chia seeds help a lot of things; hydration, digestive health, lowering cholesterol, just to name a few. One thing though is your skin! Chia seeds are full of essential fatty acids and full of protein which help in the process of skin and growing skin as you become older. I could go on and on about chia seeds with their vitamins and minerals. I'll have to a separate post sharing my google research and what my mom has shared with me! Try it! It's delicious!!
